Micron

The Crunkster Dictionary and Phrasebook

With the success of The Celebrity Nickname Dictionary, I decided to do a Crunkster Dictionary (WE ARE NOT GOING TO DEFINE ANY CRUNKSTERS!) This will define several expressions used by the Crunksters and define many topics and catchphrases that Fresh uses.

The way to define it:

Name the expression, where did it come from or who uses it and the meaning and use it in a sentence. If any, list related expressions.

Examples:

SLEW – came from Micron. Variant of slay. Meaning something that is awkward, stupid, or wonky. It is always said in capital letters. It also means a lot and it is a past tense of slay. Micron decided to use this word because in his own words: “I picked that word because I know I can use it anytime and anywhere with anything and not get sideyed.”
Sentence: Can someone tell me why this heffa’s hair is SLEW to the right?
Related: SLEW as hell, SLEW ass.

Men with Titties – Topic name for C&D. It relates to men who have an excess amount of Fat or muscle in their pectoral region, resembling breasts when they are seen in muscle shirts or even shirtless. Biggest offender is Rick Ross.

Stans – came from rapper Eminem. A blend of stalker and fan. In his song, Stan, an obsessed fan of Eminem’s writes letters to him about his life but never got any replies from him. When Em tried to write back, he learned that the same Stan killed himself and his pregnant girlfriend. This expression is used for all of the fans in blogs who fight with the regulars of blogs because one person said something bad about their favorite artist, when said person is actually entitled to that opinion. In C&D many of these stans are lurkers who not only are entertained when we talk about someone else, but would fight us if we talked about their beloved. In fact this regular managed to have imposters come and try to pass themselves as him on several occasions, almost to the point that he had to change his grav constantly. To add, these same imposters do converse from time to time when the regulars are gone while still having his name attached
Sentence: These Beytlejuice stans need to stop with their bullshit!

I Be Shittin’ On You Hoe – came from rapper Geisha. Topic on C&D. Variant on You Ain’t Got Shit on Me. Basically means I am better than you, ho!

Lavender – came from Micron. Variant of Tang and Zesty. Came from the animation Angry Dog. Micron felt since Tang (orange) and Zest (green) were masculine colors, Lavender would be a better way to say, “that dude is gay.”
Sentence: That dude has a touch of lavender about him…if you know what I mean.

Team Chunk – came from Fresh. A member of the Big and Beautiful Society.
Sentence: Team Chunk, stand the fuck up!

Ebonies – This was every crunkster’s effort. Named after the expression ANTM contestant Ebony gave when Robyn did a “prayer.” Micron made it his grav and the rest was history. Whenever Fresh posts someone and their bullshit, 9 times out of 10 many crunksters do the Ebony.

Beyonce – The language of Beyonce Knowles. This language became prominent when Beyonce acted in the flop Obsessed, a movie so bad that only Beytlejuice shown up at the premier. During the movie, Beyonce’s accent was prominently heard and funny to mock. Crunksters like Celie, Micron, and Dee have been able to master it flawlessly.
Example: U tutched mai chile?

YAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSS! – Came from Khia. A sort of rejoice. In her interlude, “I Refuse” Every time Khia delivered a line, her in the background went YAAAAAAAASSSSS! So it stuck.

Let’s keep defining the Crunk way!

Thank For Breakin' It Down For Us: Topic/tag name on C&D. I believe it to be created by Fresh (forgive me if I am wrong, I am a beginner Crunkster). Used when a celebrity or any other sort of public figure goes into a long, drawn-out, explanation or story about something that isn't even that deep, that no one cares about in the first place, or that has been explained by the person countless times before.

Examples: Pretty much anything that comes out of Uncle Ciara's mouth, (i.e. her superhero alter-ego, the concept behind Fantasy Ride, how those fuckas over at Vibe magazine Photoshopped her bra and panties off). Pretty much applies to any one of Kanyetta's blog rants. And the same five stories that Beyonce tells over and over again in interviews (i.e. how surreal it was to sing at Obama's inauguration, how Sorlando wanted to beat up her first boyfriend, constant explanations of her alter ego, how she had to restrain herself and not let herself be completely great in order to play Deena Jones in Dreamgirls, how she can't cook, etc.)

Fuckery in Full Effect - Came from Micron. Referred from Blackstreet's song No Diggity. It means that Tomfoolery is alive and well. It's when someone takes refuge in a bad situation that is beyond any comprehension. Example: Damn! Angel Lola Luv's Album Cover is Fuckery in Full Effect.

Ho Economics - Came from Micron. The tactics used by some men and women in certain industries to either get ahead in their career or in their life. For some it can fail (eg. Timothy "New York" Pollard) or do well, (eg. Superhead) or can drift in between (eg. Amber Rose) Basically, for some people, they believe sleeping around will get you certain things and if done correctly, you can get a lot of things with little consequences. That's how Ho Economics works.

Ding.....dong... - Came from Micron. A reference to Thugnificient's Whorebell. Every time a visitor pressed the doorbell, a woman (mostly a video hofeshinal) would sing the word Ding...then inhale and exhale and sing Dong. This term means that the person is a video hoe with no sense in Ho Economics or a total idiot.

Take Me to the Water - Came from Micron. Basically meaning, "Take me to the water and drown my ass, Lord!" or "Take me to the water and baptize me so I can be a brand new Christian, Lord!" It's also a song sung by Nina Simone.

Thirsty - Came from Durty Mo. It means desperate. While being hungry is wanting to be successful, Thirsty is desperate for attention. Ironically, it is a song by Diddy's dick moisturizer Cassie.

HBIC (Hoopty Bitch In Chow Line) - Came from Micron. Originally meaning Head Bitch In Charge, this term has been used by Timothy Pollard AKA New York from Flavor of Love. Micron called her a Hoopty Bitch in Chow Line, meaning a woman who claims she has everything in her hoopty little head.

Hoodratedness Is a Disease - Came from Durty Mo of Youknowyoudeadazzwrong. It is a topic on her site due to pointing out women who dress VERY badly, posing in clubs, and giving Black Girl Pose #26. Usually with Jem-colored hair.

Jem-Colored Hair - Came from Micron. Hair that is: A: Eighties style, which is high and processed or B: Neon-colored. Referenced to the 80's cartoon Jem.

Black Girl Pose - Came from J. Alexander AKA Miss J., runway teacher for models. In pictures, for black women, there is a certain way that they pose. Usually, hands on the hip and giving attitude. If you want to model, you cannot pose like this. There is more than one way to pose for a picture, but for some reason, some of us go into Black Girl Pose.
